Senior Vice President, Business Development

Jim credits his own high school travel and early-career assignments overseas as the catalysts for his enduring love for travel – and its ability to change the lives of learners of all ages. It was this WorldStrides mission that drew him to the company in 2006.

Jim’s current responsibilities include oversight of new-program development, strategic partnerships, onboarding of recent acquisitions, and WorldStrides’ portfolio of event-focused special programs. He has also been influential in the company’s development of China programs and cultural exchanges.

Prior to WorldStrides, Jim held leadership positions in management consulting and several Fortune 500 companies, including Capital One and General Motors in Shanghai. He has a BSE and an MBA from Duke University. The son of two former teachers, he takes great pride in creating educational experiences for students all over the world.
